It was fun watching the doors flap when he hit bumps. Pretty sure I've never seen a convertible from this era....

Pretty sure I've never seen a convertible from this era....
The reason for that, as I'm sure you are aware, is because cars from that era, and American cars in particular, were so poorly made that they lacked the structural rigidity necessary to be made into convertibles. That is why you will find lots of American cars from that era with T-Tops, but very few with convertible tops.
